Below, you’ll provide the information, content, and resources needed for your project. The more thoughtful and thorough you are, the stronger the foundation we’ll have to create a brand that not only looks good—but supports where your business is going next.

Your Website Content Checklist

A successful website project starts with having the right information in place. Before design begins, please use this checklist to gather and submit the content, images, account access, and business information needed for your project.

Providing complete and finalized content helps us stay on schedule, minimize unnecessary revisions, and focus our time together on creating a website that strategically represents your brand.

01. Photo Requirements

Strong imagery plays an important role in how your brand is experienced online. Please provide high-quality, current images that accurately represent you, your business, products, services, and overall brand.

Depending on your project, your photos may include:

  • Professional headshots and brand photography

  • Team photos

  • Product photography

  • Photos of your location or workspace

  • Service or behind-the-scenes imagery

  • Event or lifestyle photography

  • Portfolio or project images

  • Testimonials accompanied by client photos, when available

Whenever possible, submit original, high-resolution files rather than screenshots, images downloaded from social media, or heavily filtered photos.

If you do not have professional photography, let us know. We can discuss appropriate stock photography or other visual solutions for your website.

02. Website Copy Requirements

Website copy includes all of the written content visitors will read throughout your site. Please submit finalized copy for each page included in your project.

Depending on your website, this may include:

Home
A brief introduction to your business, key services or offers, value proposition, and the primary action you want visitors to take.

About
Your story, mission, experience, credentials, team information, values, or anything else that helps your audience understand who you are and why your work matters.

Services
The name and detailed description of each service, package, program, or experience you offer. Include pricing or starting investments if you would like them displayed.

Contact
Business contact information, office hours, service area, preferred methods of contact, and any information visitors should know before reaching out.

Additional Pages
Please provide finalized content for any portfolio, FAQ, testimonial, event, membership, booking, resources, or specialty pages included in your project.

Unless copywriting is included in your project agreement, Elite Designs Co. will design around the copy you provide. Light editing may be made for formatting and presentation, but substantial writing or rewriting may require an additional service.

03. Login + Account Access

Certain projects require temporary access to your website platform, domain provider, email marketing system, booking platform, e-commerce tools, or other third-party services.

You may be asked to provide access to platforms such as:

  • Squarespace

  • Shopify

  • Wix

  • Domain registrar

  • Google Workspace

  • Email marketing platform

  • Scheduling or booking software

  • Payment processor

  • Social media accounts or integrations

  • Other services connected to your website

Whenever possible, please add Elite Designs Co. as an administrator, contributor, or collaborator rather than sharing your personal password.

If a platform does not provide collaborator access, we will provide instructions for securely sharing the necessary credentials.

Please do not send passwords through standard email, text messages, or the general project upload folder.

04. Legal + Policy Requirements

Every business is responsible for providing the policies and legal information required for its website and operations.

Depending on your business, this may include:

  • Privacy Policy

  • Terms and Conditions

  • Refund or Cancellation Policy

  • Shipping Policy

  • Return or Exchange Policy

  • Booking Policy

  • Disclaimer

  • Accessibility information

  • Terms of Service

  • Cookie or data collection disclosures

  • Any industry-specific legal notice

Elite Designs Co. may format and place client-provided policies on your website but does not provide legal advice or guarantee that policies meet the legal requirements applicable to your business.

We recommend having your policies prepared or reviewed by an appropriately qualified legal professional when necessary.

Information Needed To Complete Web Design

Please make sure to submit requested documents below within 48 hours of web design purchase. Turnaround time does not begin until payment has been made in full and all documents have been submitted to inquiries@elitedesignsc.com.

Please submit all required documents from the list below:

  • Product/Venue photos + descriptions

  • Price List of all products + variants

  • Legal documents (privacy policy, terms of use, etc.)

  • Transparent PNG file of logo

  • All contact info (email, phone, mailing/physical address, etc.)

  • Social media/booking site links

  • About us/Owner briefing

  • Store Policies (Return/Exchanges, Shipping, etc.)

  • Preferred Domain name

  • Store Login Information
